Jagaran supports the community by undertaking livelihood programs where the skills can be easily imbibed and used for income generation. With that goal in mind, the company has focused on adding more skilled teachers who can disseminate skills. One livelihood program which has shown potential is Stitching and Embroidery, which is currently taught by 25 teachers. The company has distributed sewing machines to this end and the total beneficiaries of the program are more than 600.
